Welcome to screenrecorder.one ("Service"), operated by screenrecorder.one ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

screenrecorder.one is a free, browser-based screen recording tool. It allows you to record your screen, add zoom effects, blur sensitive areas, cut segments, and export polished MP4 videos. The core recording and editing features run entirely in your browser.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

3. User Accounts

Some features may require creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to violate any laws
• Record content you do not have the right to capture (e.g., copyrighted material, confidential information belonging to others)
• Upload, transmit, or distribute malicious code or interfere with the Service's operation
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or otherwise access the Service in bulk
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation

5. Your Content

You retain all rights to recordings and content you create using the Service. We do not claim any ownership over your content. When you use server-side rendering, your video is processed on our servers temporarily and deleted after processing is complete. We do not store, review, or share your recordings.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, features, and branding, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service without our prior written consent.

7. Free and Pro Tiers

The Service is currently offered for free. We may introduce paid plans ("Pro") in the future. If we do, we will clearly communicate pricing and features before any charges apply. Free features available at the time of your registration will remain available unless we provide reasonable advance notice of changes.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. You use the Service at your own risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, lost profits, or business interruption, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim.
